[ ! ] Drama is all fun and games but mainly when this is kept IN CHARACTER, do not bring any drama to my site, you'll be warned and if you don't listen, well guess what? You'll be banned. [ ! ] Respect is essential here, don't be a douche bag and don't ignore others. It's rude and disrespectful as fuck. Be nice and try to get along with everyone. The site is for everyone to enjoy and have fun. CHARACTER RULES [ ! ] One character per account, this does not mean one person can only have one character. This means you must have separate characters on separate accounts. [ ! ] I don't like setting limits on how many characters a member can have, for all I care you can have 20 but keep them all active. Posting once a week is enough. If not you'll have to drop some if you can't handle them all. [ ! ] Keep characters original. Don't copy everything about the FC you're using. Also, don't go around stealing character's either. That will get you banned in a heartbeat. Lastly, no Mary Sues or Gary Stus. Not everyone is perfect, alright? Alright. POSTING RULES [ ! ] We don't have a specific roleplaying level all we ask is that you reach a minimum of 100 words (to give enough for your partner to reply to), if you have any difficulty getting that remember description and rambling use up a lot of space! [ ! ] Use some common sense when roleplaying; don't tlk lik dis OR lik3 d15, and no chat speak. Spell check is for spelling errors and grammatical errors, so don't be shy of it [ ! ] be courteous and put labels in thread names; such as [open] or [closed]. Here's a brief list of example tags:     » [open]/[o] : the thread is open and anyone can jump in. try to keep a good posting order.     » [closed]/[c] : the thread is closed, and you may only enter with the thread creator's permission.     » [reserved]/[r] : same as above.     » [invite only]/[in] : same as above, but more anal particular. [ ! ] No godmodding, no power playing, no meta playing, etc. we won't tolerate stuff like that. [ ! ] Roleplay is liquid time -- you can be in as many threads as you want, as long as they are active. This also means you don't have to go off of what the current season or time is (site events are the exception.) [ ! ] For those of you who don't really want to look for post templates or are simply lazy like myself... There is a 'JUSTIFY FULL' button. Use it well. (This isn't really a rule more of a pet peeve- I like things to be neat) IMAGE RULES [ ! ] If you have yet noticed this is an animanga site, meaning that all Face Claims used here have to be of ANIME or MANGA nature. This means that if you're going to use a character from a game, make sure that the art is of Animanga nature. Do not use CGI images, they're gross. [ ! ] All images used around the site are (WILL PUT SIZE) pixels for the mini-profile and (WILL PUT SIZE) for anywhere else when it comes to main site templates, nothing smaller or bigger. (You templates are an exception) [ ! ] Please, use high quality icons for your characters. If you are not into graphics, it is ok, I can help with icons if needed, all you have to do is ask. [ ! ] Please refrain from using your own art or original characters. I will be fairly strict about this solely because I do not want to be liable for any "stolen" art or etc.

the faq WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I AM INACTIVE,, When you join, you are making a commitment to stay active, that goes for all of your accounts. If you have to go away I suggest you let us know by posting HERE. If you are gone for two weeks without notice we will send you an email. A week later if you do not show back up you characters will be placed in the archives and on the fifth week we will remove your accounts. If you let us know before time when you are leaving you will be safe from this happening no matter how long you are leaving. CAN I MAKE A FEMALE CHARACTER,, Female characters are allowed but they are not permitted in the academy, currently the only member group we have for females is the Citizens. At some point we may have more opportunities for female characters but as of now we want to keep them limited. This is a Yaoi/Shounen Ai site and we can't have females over powering the males. DO I HAVE TO HAVE A FACE CLAIM,, Yes. We here at k&k prefer you to have a faceclaim so we don't have two alike. An easy way to find face claims is to choose characters from animes and mangas you have already watched or read. If you do not watch it or read it you can always just go to a site like zerochan to find what you are looking for. If you already have an image and you are not sure where it comes from, ask around. Someone may be bound to know where it is from. DOES MY CHARACTER HAVE TO BE GAY,, Your character can be any sexuality, they can be heterosexual, homosexual, demisexual, pansexual, hell for all we care they can be in love with lamps. Of course this is a Yaoi/Shounen Ai roleplay site so you will find many nonheterosexual characters. CAN MY CHARACTER MOVE UP A GRADE,, This option is not currently available for the shop because it is not in demand. However, if it becomes something that more members request then it can be added. DOES MY CHARACTER HAVE TO LIVE ON CAMPUS,, If your character is a student they are required to live on campus, they are allowed to go into town whenever they please as long as they attend classes and are in their dorms by 10:00 PM, when the gates lock until 6:00 AM. Teachers are not required to live on campus however it is strongly recommended that faculty stays on campus until the gates lock. Citizens, of course, are not permitted on campus unless the academy holds a city-wide festival or event. CAN MY CHARACTER HAVE MORE THAN ONE JOB OR BE APART OF MORE THAN ONE CLUB,, Yes, you may have your character have more than one occupation or be apart of more than one club. However, you may not have more than two high positions in jobs or clubs with one character. You may have more than one character with high job or club positions but please try to allow others to have the chance to WHAT TIME ERA IS KISSES AND KEROSENE? The time era is modern times, so 21st century. So, from 2001-Present Time would be the year frame, since this roleplay is liquid time you are allowed to make your threads any one time, year or season. Also, just because it is modern times does not mean your character can not have a modern personality or appearance, characters may act or appear pre-century or post-century.

the setting Étoile Academy was founded in the 1700’s in a small island-city off the coast of Southern France, only accessible by car, bus or boat. The city of Cidre was built around the academy years after it was build, only to be blocked out by golden, cast iron gates. The population ranges from 4,000 to 5,000 citizens all brought together, bringing their different histories and traditions with them. The city, along with the academy, is much like a melting pot, many different people from all walks of life gathered into the small city, whether to start a new life or attempt to get into the academy. The academy itself is the dead center of the town, a huge campus with many, clean, fresh looking buildings. Despite its age it appears new, just like the city of Cidre itself. Being in the humid seaboard zone of France Cidre experiences mild winters and quite hot summers, it’s safe to say Cidre gets plenty of rain.

member groups  ★FIRST YEARS First Year students are between 14 to 16 years old students at the academy and are considered freshmen. They stay on the first floor of Dorm A. Males Only ★SECOND YEARS Second year students are between 15 to 17 years old and are considered the sophomores they are on the second floor of Dorm A. Males Only. ★THIRD YEARS The Third years are those between ages 16 to 18 years old and are considered the Juniors. The Juniors stay on the first floor of Dorm B. Males Only. ★FOURTH YEARS The fourth years are those who are between ages 17 to 19 and are on their last two years of being at the Academy. These guys are considered the seniors and claim ownership of the top floor of  Dorm B. Males only.  ★FACULTY Faculty includes the teachers, headmasters, and the school doctor. This is for anyone who works at the Academy whom is not a student. The faculty ages can range any where from 21 and above and there are plenty of faculty members on hand at the academy. Males only. ★CIVILIANS The civilians are those who are not affiliated with the academy, this is where most of the female characters can be found. The citizens live outside of the campus and are rarely allowed onto campus. Open to all genders.
